Nicest day of the year so far here in Idaho. Temperatures in the mid-70′s, bright sunny skies – quite lovely! The weatherman had predicted high winds and thunderstorms, but most of the day was beautiful. I decided to take a ride in the late morning up Highway 55 to Banks, and the roads were very quiet, which was nice. It’s sure great to see everything starting to green up, and quite early this year.
I stopped in Horseshoe Bend and snapped a couple of pics, first with the iPhone using the TrueHDR app:

Next I rode a bit further north, up to Banks. I stopped at one of my favorite spots along the road and took another shot, this time with the S100:
I turned toward Garden Valley, and noticed that the Payette River was really roaring!
Supposed to be cold and windy tomorrow, but it sure was nice today!
