Now that I’ve had a chance to thoroughly review all 6,500 or so photos I took over the recent WSBK/AMA weekend at Miller, and taken care of the specific needs of the clients I was serving that weekend, I decided to pick out 48 of my top favorites from the weekend, and create a gallery of desktop wallpaper images as I’ve done in the past.
One issue with designing photos for this purpose, is that there are a lot of different sizes and shapes of monitors these days, so what may work well for one person, may not f0r another. It seems to me, though, that the trend seems to be toward more of a widescreen format.
Not all of the images that I liked worked well for that long, linear format, but most did. On some of them, that sort of crop made me like them even more. When I finished, I scrolled through the images one by one, and felt pretty proud of the images I’d created! It was a fun weekend, and it’s really an honor to watch and photograph these incredible racers on our “home” track. They are just so incredibly skillful, and as a motorcycle racer myself, I am in awe of what they can do on a bike.
My hope is that these images capture just how magnificent these racers and bikes are, and what a fun event this was. You can find the gallery here:
